Atophy

3D Action Platformer


Atrophy was by final project while I was as student at the Vancouver Film School. It’s a 3D action platformer that includes a number of infinite runner mechanics. Atrophy is buggy, unpolished, and all around a massive failure that didn’t even come close to living up to it’s potential.

This game initially started as a zelda style dungeon crawler with high intensity sections of running on the side. The game started with a lot of character and a ton of backstory to effectively create a complete world that effectively immersed the player. With every iteration, we removed a fantastic feature and ended up with a mediocre running game that we probably should have ported to mobile so it would show better.
